Hey, I’m Katie!

Teen & Adult Therapist in Houston, TX

Real talk, real feelings, real change.

You deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without fear of judgment or pressure to be anything other than yourself. My approach is warm, informal, and often infused with humor because healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. More than anything, I want you to feel safe, accepted, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.

I’m here to support you, challenge you, and help you get out of your own way when needed. I’ll always be in your corner, but I’ll also be honest with you when something isn’t serving you. The goal of therapy isn’t to make all of life’s problems disappear (because, let’s be real, that’s not possible), but to help you feel more confident in handling whatever comes your way. You deserve to feel capable, resilient, and in control of your own story. Let’s get there together.

Cozy office with large window and warm lighting, orange couch with plush pillows, a light gray armchair, a small side table with a lamp, a wooden bookshelf, potted plants, and a modern floor lamp with multiple bulbs, all on a multicolored area rug.

A little more about me…

I became a therapist because I know how overwhelming and isolating life can feel at times. As a teen, I had a counselor who reminded me that I wasn’t broken—that things wouldn’t always feel this scary. That experience shaped the way I show up for my clients today. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Therapy is not a one size fits all approach. Together, we will come up with a plan for healing and change that you feel comfortable and confident in and make adjustment as we go along. I may have specialized knowledge, but you are ultimately the expert on your own life.

When I’m not wearing my “therapist hat,” you can find me reading an endless amount of fantasy books, playing with my two pups, and watching college football.
